WTS: Bases, rings, odds, and ends

The 10/22 mounts are sweet. They are not see thru, but a ring/base combo similar to a Talley lightweight.

      Terminators

There is a lot of talk about zombie guns and SHTF guns. After watching T2 again, I think I am most worried about Terminators. Shotguns seemed to be the most effective, with the M79 delivering the coupe de grace. Handguns seemed to have little effect. What would your choice be to ward off...

GM - no deals and great comments at the gun counter.

I got a fair price for a Pre-64 Model 70 in .264 Win Mag at the Terre Haute store in December. I got a steal on a Ruger 77 MkII in .35 Whelen when they first opened 5 years ago. I usually fondel guns there and buy elsewhere. I have had more than one conversation with the store manager...

      bradis trip!

I used to buy all of my guns exclusively through Bradis, and I lived 2hrs away. Something changed about 10 years ago and I don't get the customer service that I used to. I still check things out from time to time, but I tend to buy elsewhere now.

      WTS: Essentially New Sony PSP

I am selling a 3000 series Sony PSP as new as can be for having been taken out of the box. Comes with the box, cords, protective hard case, and a copy of Gran Turismo. It has been played less than an hour since I bought it in August. I'm in Terre Haute so I would be willing to do a face to face...

      King Cobra vs. 686

Given the choice of a new S&W 686 or a used Colt King Cobra, which is the better revolver? I am contemplating my first handgun purchase and it looks like these two are in the same price range. I would like to have your thoughts on the subject so I can make a better choice. It's a lot easier...

Dry Lubricant at Oct. '09 1500

My father in law bought a can. Said he really likes it but it doesn't replace gun oil for his Benelli's. They would shoot ok for a while but then start short cycling. He sprayed them with RemOil and they were back up and running.

Any comments on NEF pump shotguns?

Never fired one but when I fondeled one at Gander Mtn, I liked it more than other shotguns in the same price range.
