      Ok I have never held one of these sights or have seen one other than in a catalog or here on the web. I am planning a build and the upper has a railed gas block so my question is- is there any drawbacks to putting the front buis on the gas block? With heat or height? Thanks

      Smith and Wesson M&P 15x. It has a troy buis, tango down battle grips, a red dot sight (unknown mfg) troy forearm, 4 magpul Pmags two coyote and two od and I believe 3 steel 30 round colt mags.       Thanks for the responses I will try it with checking my grip and I haven't taken it apart but ill check that too when I get off work. It only has maybe 100 rounds through it so I'm hoping its something that I'm doing and not the pistol.

      I have a glock22 rtf and I can fire one maybe two rounds through it and the slide locks back (theres still rounds in the magazine). My question is would this be the recoil spring?
