      So I want to try my hand at muzzleloader this deer season. My neighbor is letting me borrow his CVA Wolf. He doesn't know the first thing nor do I. Anyone shot this blackpowder gun to point me in the direction of the correct combination to make a good shot. I had to lean the crap out of it...

      Yes they are illegal to hunt with in Indiana but there are other places that allow hunting with calibers such as a 243. , 270, etc.........

      My step dad helped me get the 06 so it isn't going anywhere beside I'm an old school guy so the 30-06 holds a special place. It will be a safe queen really it a really nice CZ with a beautiful walnut stock. I will probably buy another large caliber for hunting because I don't want to beat it...

      Why would I want a 308 I said I have 30-06 which is 308's daddy looking for smaller so comments like 308 will make it a caliber war

      .243 rifle. I have a bigger 30-06 and .22's but I'm looking for something in between for medium to small game and a fun low recoil day at the range. Could go .223 but I think .243 may give a bit more range of uses. Whatcha think? :popcorn:

      It seems like every other time I go purchase a firearm I get delayed. Twice this year so far. Last year I bought several guns no delay. What a joke. Earlier this year my stepdad sent me a pistol and the FFL told me it was delayed then a week later denied. I called the FBI or who ever they...
