      Top Shot: Behold, His Englishness!

I'm an Englishman and I approve of this message. :)

      POST your spoils. (Include PICS!!)

No pics yet, but I got the LaserMax guide rod laser for my M&P. A couple of the FAST holsters. (Really cool rare earth magnets with a rubberized finish) I think I might mount one of these behind my night stand. Depending on how it works, I might pick up the stronger one rated for 40lbs and have...

      Lasermax guide rod sights

Ok so I went to the 1500 today and there were only a couple of tables selling laser sights and only one of which had the lasermax. I tried out the Crimson trace grips and although I like them switching to shooting right handed just isn't an option. If they made a left handed version I'd be all...

      Lasermax guide rod sights

Problem is that I'm a lefty and my thumbs rest on the right side of the slide. I've been waiting for Crimson to make a lefty version but it doesn't look like they will be making one anytime soon. I was pretty close to picking up one of those Viridian green lasers that go on the M&P rail but...

      Lasermax guide rod sights

Nice to hear that the Lasermax products have been holding up to usage and not needing additional adjustment. I've been toying with either getting the XS big dot or a laser for quick target acquisition. Of course the laser is a bit more but also provides a decent training aid.

      Lasermax guide rod sights

I just saw that they finally make a guide rod laser for the M&Ps. Guide Rod Laser for Smith & Wesson M&P Pistol Anyone had any experience with guide rod lasers? Do they hold up well? I'm thinking it would be a pretty good training/practice tool. Maybe someone at the 1500 might have them...

      Black Rifle Disease

I'm glad the 1500 is this weekend to help me with this disease.

      Black Rifle Disease

So after shooting my AR this weekend my disease is growing. However I spent most of my time working zeroing the sights. Do I have to add that I hate the A2 iron sights?

      AR Mag feed issues.

Cycling a downloaded mag works. Hence why I thought it may have been an issue with the magazine and/or mag spring. As for the magazine being steel, I'm probably mistaken regarding the material. It is however a USGI magazine with the green follower.

      AR Mag feed issues.

Rifle extension and receiver, although now there's a gouges right underneath the ramps. I'm going to try and put some pics up in a few.

      AR Mag feed issues.

Ride the bolt? Not sure what you mean there. I pulled the charging handle and let it fly on the first round and that's when it caught. I also tried pulling the charging handle and letting the bolt ease forward to see what was going on. The outcome was the same. The tip of the bullet would look...

      AR Mag feed issues.

So I'm prepping my rifle for it's maiden trip (in my hands anyway). I load up a 30 round magazine and cycle the bolt. Low any behold, the first round jams. Looks like the tip of the bullet was catching on the feedramps and the bolt is crushing it. I pull the bolt back, try and slide the...

AR-15 and M-16 Show And Tell

Yeah and I don't like em. They are pretty smooth so I'm not sure what kind of grip I'll have with them.

AR-15 and M-16 Show And Tell

They are multi piece hard plastic.

      Black Rifle Disease

Yeah I'll be heading to the range this weekend to give it a trial run. Thing is I'd like my wife to be able to shoot it if needed and she is of small stature. If I end up liking the fixed stock, I guess I'll just have to get an M4 type that will fit the wife.

      List of Indiana Shooting Ranges

Does anyone know of any ranges around Indy that have reactive targets? I may have finally found a way for my wife to come shoot with me. She wants to see when/where she hits and she doesn't like shooting paper.

      Black Rifle Disease

Well funny enough I just acquired a 10/22 about 3 weeks ago from a friend of mine so I've got something to plink with. I thought I'd have the fever converting it to an AR style stock, but I guess the disease took over and I ended up buying my DPMS. :)

No need to be jealous. This was a birthday present for myself too and my birthday happens to be earlier than yours. :D
