I haven't shot one yet. However I like to idea of a small pistol caliber carbine.
I thought the 40SW version ran Glock 22 mags, or perhaps I'm mistaken. I have pretty much standardized on 40SW for 95% of my pistols so it makes sense to me to stick with 40SW.
However if there's a kind soul out...
Been several years since I last went to the show, but managed to go on Saturday just to eyeball a couple of things. Left the 1500 with a P938 and a Tavor both from ZX. It was a straight forward deal and they even gave me a price break since I was picking up both from them. I can't wait to get...
SealLine Baja™ Dry Bag
This is what I use for a dry sack. I've had to ford rivers and used my pack as a flotation device. Without that dry sack, every item would have been soaked.
The 55 liter sack is the same size as my main compartment, so I know that if it fits in my ruck, it'll be waterproof.
If I could bear the weight of carrying a sleeping system for all member of my family that would be the best option, however an option I'm considering is to pack two goretex bivvy sacks and three space blankets. The goretex will keep outside moisture at bay and the space blankets to retain as...
Good pointers here. Lots of talk about carrying water but nothing about waterproofing your gear that in your BoB aside from standard hefty baggies for organization purposes.
In my experience, water introduced to your gear can make for an unpleasant time especially if it renders some of your gear...
I'd agree that they've been handicapped by the political system...not because they're "fat and lazy".
As with all police forces around the world you'll always have some that give the rest of the force a bad name...but I'd say lazy Met officers are the exception and not the rule.
I'm...
How many Met officers do you know? How many decades have you lived in London? Coming from an Englishman the Met of years past used to be ruthless... fifteen years ago they wouldn't have had any problems with lobbing gas into those looters and cracking heads open....today is a different story the...
Well guess I will resist the wife in wanting to go to the State Fair for yet another year.
Not like my midsection would miss the fried twinkies and other heart clogging monstrosities the vendors come up with.
With the recent reported events in WI and the Indiana State Fair right around the corner, I'm wondering if the recent law changes in Indiana will now permit legally carried firearms at the State Fair.
In previous years it has been a big no no, but what about now?
Has anything changed?
Not sure about a discount, but I picked up several of them at the Indy1500 a while ago.
They work great...want to buy more so I can have multiple stash points.
Screw a FAST holster to the underside of your nightstand and presto instant hidden firearm.
FAST Holster
That way you can pretend you're in one of those cop movies where they have guns stashed everywhere. :)
