I've found that head speed is the most important factor, get an axe (maul, whatever) with the heaviest head you can swing fast. There's obviously going to be a trade off at some point, but speed is more important, imho.
I've used one of these for years. I've split oak, cherry, maple and elm with it.

I generally have 3 guns in the truck when I'm in it. I keep a small Phoenix Arms .22 underneath my visor for quick reach (carjacking, just in case). I keep my AR behind the seat, cased and loaded and then I usually have my carry gun on me. When I'm working the carry gun goes in a secret hiding spot.
Sadly, no. Only camera I have is on my phone and it won't zoom close enough for any kind of detail.
On the top of the barrel it says "NAVY ARMS CO UNION CITY, NJ MADE IN ITALY". On the left side it says "S.A. CAL 357 MAG." Under the...ejector housing?... on the right side there are two "coat...
I just picked up a single action army revolver with the ejector rod broken off. It's a Navy Arms (just the importer, I believe) with a square around a "BT" underneath. Will any ejector fit this? Colt, Ruger, Uberti etc. or do I need a Navy Arms specific one?
I used to carry a series 80 1911 in condition 2, but before I did I made very sure that it wouldn't go off short of the hammer being dropped from a cocked position. For the record, I'm left handed and I could thumb the hammer back faster and with a better grip than trying to swipe the stock...
I got a stripped DSA upper for my build that I finished earlier this year. No complaints. I don't think I have 1,000 rounds through it yet, but seems solid. (That is just the stripped, no idea what their parts are like.)
True. That particular truck was plated for 10k and if I remember right it would tare in on average at about 7k, which would leave 3k. Make sure your tires are rated to carry that much weight too.
I am. The light and the safety are left handed only, not an ambi-safety. The BUIS are set up for a lefty, but I supposed could be canted for a right. Everything else is "normal"
