I got...
- A SW642 ladysmith for carrying to and from work
- A Colt ce2000 because it was the closest rifle I could find to the M4 I had in the service
- A Beretta px4 carry for EDC, a little big for summer carry, but outstanding gun
- A SW629 6.5 classic and some wood hogue grips, Im excited
I would imagine that owning a colt from before the re-org would be valuable. Not massively so, but the company did provide arms to the military for many, many years. They have a lot of historical significance.
Other then it being uglier than sin, it looks like a nice little pistol. Im slowly becoming fed up with polymer pistols, but this one looks decent. May have to try to get my hands on one when I can.
I don't know about you guys, but Im ready to read nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews...
I got a cpx-2 brand new for $255 in December 2016. I liked the way it looked and felt. The gun shot ok, I guess. Trigger pull sucks.
The real problem is the garbage magazines. I had failure to feed at least once every other mag. One magazine was significantly worse than the other, averaging a...
I picked up a ton of 9mm for a good price. Also found an old remington 870 wingmaster for $225 that looks like it will be a fun first restoration project.
Also, one of the staff was telling me they had a negligent discharge into the cabinets behind one of the gun counters about a month ago... maybe its time to find a new range. Tim's shooting academy is just up the road.
I was planning on going there today to break in my newest purchase... are they open?
Also glad the lady left in stable condition, the staff at the Carmel location are very hit and miss. About half of them are great and the other half is pretty apathetic.
Depending on your budget, either aliengear or stealthgear. The stealthgear holsters are amazing, but expensive. Aliengear is alot cheaper and pretty straightforward beginner holster for ccw. Just dont get a universal holster, get one molded for your gun.
Im all on board as long as I can order the combination I want. As of now, if I want a sig p302 with a full size slide and a compact frame, I have to pay 550 for the full size gun and another 400 for the compact kit that comes with a bunch of components I dont need. It makes sense if I can buy...
Yeah, Im ok with putting down ~$800, but Im not really looking to go for a 1.2k handgun...
That being said, I never considered the reflective finish on the S&W being an issue while hunting. All my hunting shotguns are either camo or wood, so I never thought about it before. Ill definitely take...
To make matters worse, you cant buy the individual components. Say I got the p320 full size and I wanted to put a compact grip on it. I still have to buy the entire conversion kit for the compact which gives me a bunch of stuff I don't want, like a barrel, slide, and a magazine. When you buy the...
Overhyped. I just picked up a new p320 a few weeks ago. The guy at the store was selling me on the modularity hard.
I was gonna buy the pistol anyways, but I looked up the price of an exchange kit for .357 sig subcompact, it was $400. Thats like, 4/5 of the price of an entirely new gun. Id...
I can do either regardless of price. I learned my lesson on cheaping out on guns awhile ago. Id rather spend more now and have the more reliable firearm in the long run.
The RSB is SAO, so that may cut the price down while still keeping good quality? Sounds like any money saved by going the...
Hey everyone, Im looking for a general recommendation for a .44 mag revolver for deer hunting in Illinois.
Ive essentially narrowed it down to the Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter and the S&W 629. If anyone has any other recommendations, feel free to mention them as well.
I want to lean towards...
