I directed her go to the Speedway Police station and apply for a conceal carry permit. For everything past that she was a grown ass lady and I have to assume she'll figure it all out.
And never forget, if you open carry the bad guys will take your gun away from you and make you dance like in a bad Western (at least that's what my anti-gun Dad tells me!)
I don't know how to sterilize that weapon (though as an ex-chef you might think I would) but the real question is where can I get some eye bleach to remove that hot pistol packin' mama from long and short term memory?
It's a Springfield XD 9mm. Why would that make a difference? Still a fair chunk'o metal onboard.
I used to caddie as a kid and it was an article of faith that holding a golf club could act as a lightning rod. Just sayin'!
That looks like fun! I'm lucky that my wife enjoys going to the range. In fact last year when I was planning our anniversary I was trying to come up with something, anything shooting related but struck out. I just couldn't find anything that would work. Afterwards i told her and she was...
Okay, I honestly don't know the answer to this so if at all possible hold the snickering.
The Missus and I were taking a walk last night. It wasn't raining but a thunderstorm was parked over head and there was thunder and lightning. The lightning was striking pretty close. Here's the dumb...
A Springfield XD 9mm on my hip all day every day here in Indy! I've been open carrying for almost two years now and not had a lick of trouble. Well, other than when a local theater asked me to leave (You can read about that adventure here Adventures in Open Carry: Regal Shiloh Crossing Stadium...
Gbuck: Thanks!
Downzero: I want to make sure I'm understanding. Are you saying I should just shoot until something breaks? Or is there a point where you would have it serviced, whether by Springfield or a gunsmith?
Hey all,
I'm still a fairly new shooter and I was just wondering, I've had my Springfield XD for about two years now and I've put several thousand rounds through it at the range.
Here's my question: How often should I take it to a gunsmith to check the workings? Do people do that? I'm...
I agree, the SPLC should always be taken with a grain of salt as their job apparently is calling people Nazi's. I used to be part of the Minutemen and I knew all kinds of people the SPLC called Nazi's whoi definitely weren't, then again, Mr. Ready does appear to bo one, so you takes your...
Just to chime in with an agreement here but I just starting carrying about six months ago and found CC so annoying and difficult I just starting OC'ing after about two months. In that time I have been amazed at what an absolute non-issue it has been.
Hey all, first post so, hi!
My wife and I are both pretty new to shooting and we really enjoy shooting together. We are members at Marion County. It's my turn to plan our anniversary activities this year and I would love to do something shooting related, perhaps a training class or something...
