    My grandson at a travel baseball tournament in Tennessee last weekend.

    During one of the school team games last spring he stole second base and the ball hit him in the hand leaving a good sized bruise. He continued to play. After the game he said he found a sliding glove with side armor so I bought it for him.

    He is catcher for most of the games so if he gets on base they don't let him run. I was needling him because the sliding glove was still clean after 2 games.

    I got this picture from our daughter with the description that the glove was dirty now. He stole 2 bases and then slid home under the tag to score a run.

    They should let him run all the time. He is obviously very good at it.
