    More context of wtf she was trying to accomplish overall?

    I have a pretty stupid expensive caliber (cheap to people who use them everday) for the next to no real use of me needing one for.

    She could be employee of the month, best dishwasher and sammich maker... she fired.

    I am at a loss for words...... WTF , does come to mind...... did you notice the orange cardboard box? Those WERE a set of new calipers, and not cheap.

    I know its a joke and probably junk calipers to start with.

    I've been in a QC / QA related roll most of my working life and I've seen idiots use calipers and micrometers used for every except what they were intended for.

    Or are they THOSE calipers. Could be like my cheap set of General Tools calipers.

    When I was working on a garage door at work, I needed to know the diameter of the spring. I thought about 1/4" but needed to know exactly. Never knew there were that many different diameters. I didn't have anything and walked across the street to the machine shop. Guy said sure you can borrow a caliper. I don't remember the brand but they sure were really nice. I never seen a digital caliper like those. He didn't care, companies equipment.
