Hello fellow IGO members!
I heard about this site from a customer at my local range (Tims Shooting Academy - Westfield) as I was getting a quote on a firearm I was looking to sell.
Originally born in Los Angeles CA, moved here almost 5 years ago after getting married. My wife had been here since 1994 with her ex, from southern CA as well. I'd been fed up with that state for many years, and was looking to move, then I met my wife and have happily become a Hoosier : )
I've been shooting for over 40 years, enjoying shooting in the Angeles Natl Forest (CA, the mountains in the background when you watch the Rose Parade), until they started shutting down those outdoor ranges, then going to paid indoor & outdoor ranges.
I'd visit my sister & brother-in-law back when I was about 10-12 years old in Illinois where his family lived. So that was my exposure to the mid-west where the most friendly, welcoming people you'd ever meet live!
I love the varied weather here. Love the seasons, but not fond of 20 degree or below weather for days - probably like most people. But I wouldn't want to move back to that crazy a$$ state for anything!
I look forward to posting questions, or answering some if I can.
So thanks for welcoming me aboard!
