Thanks for the rep! And thanks for helping me out with my first IDPA. Good stuff.
hey, don't know if you got it, I didn't but there is a rifle side-match tomorrow. Somehow me, you, Matt V and a few others were left off the email about Saturday's match. You going to be there? Hopefully those others that you shot with earlier in the week will come long and try it out.
dunno why, he did get a 48 hr vacation later on in the thread, maybe thats why. Thanks for the rep
Thanks, and no worries. I didnt know him, but as a Public Servant i figured i would show my respect
No im not, I start a new job tomorrow so I have no idea what to expect scheduling wise for a while. And its the same concept as the "thin blue line" for police officers, only this is for a firefighter that died in Muncie a week or two ago.
HA! How bad is it? Bitten as in you have to have one or bitten as in you just went and bought one? I'm getting there again, myself!
sure am. I can add ya to the roster just pm me your info. I get up there to visit family alot. Maybe we can get together and send some rounds downrange sometime. If youre ever down this way and want to go to the range just give me a yell!
Exactly! It's great to see that other people here can be honest and realistic. It cracked me up when I saw how many people said they would laugh in LEO's face or worse had they been in the same position. It sounded like a more ignorant version of me from 15yrs ago. Too much macho BS sometimes!
That was my first interaction of that kind and really I expected much worse, I was never cuffed, never in a back seat, never treated like a criminal period. It was an inconvenience for sure but personally I'd rather jump through the legal hoops from the comfort of my home than from a jail cell for resisting or whatever other bogus charge they would have thrown at me had I fought them on the confiscation.
