Actually I do believe that that is exactly what Mike is feeling. I guess what concerns all of us in the family the most is that Danny retired from IPD right before the consolidation of the departments in January and died the following October. We really do not want to go through that again mostly for Mike's sake. He really is one of the super good guys and we all love him a bunch!
Know what you mean about not getting to the range much (working for a living is such a damned nuisance)! This however has been recently remedied for me as I finally retired for real three weeks ago. Now if I could only get Mike interested in going to the range with me. I am usually there on Monday and Wednesday mornings at about 08:00 now that I am FREE! Mike has me a bit concerned as he seems to only want to hang at Rookies or O'Neals lately and is not interested in much else.
Hey great! I would really like to meet you! If you work southwest you might know my brother in law who recently retired from IMPD. Mike Fay. He worked David for many years. You might also have known my late brother in law Paul D. (Danny) Koss up in Edward and my good friend Steve Kears. Or a lifelong friend Bobby Morrison. In any case looking forward to meeting you, if not on the road, maybe at MCF&G?
Thanks for the rep, appreciate it. Out of curiosity does IMPD allow ridealongs? I've done many with Hancock Co. and a couple Conservation Officers but haven't been able to venture into the "big city" yet.
Thanks for the support. But hey, being on a forum and having an opinion is bound to get a person jumped on by somebody... LOL
I thought the punishment fit the crime, I was GUILTY.
