Thank you for the rep Tim. That story has never left my mind. In your picture it looks like two (2) little ones have grandpa wrapped around their tiny fingers! Merry Christmas! - Doug
Hey CM I just purchased a SA RO and I know that you know a lot about them. I have a question. What do you do to keep the matte finish looking good? Got any good tips for a noob?

This is on a Saturday night and there are a ton of hotels out here. You can make a night out of it, get some dinner and then go to the range with a great group of people.
I went home and cleaned it, and shot those same reloads through it that FTF'd that day. I guess it was just too dirty. I am going to try some 200gr Lead SWC. If I don't get good performance out of those, I will switch to 230 gr FMJ RN.
Very cool. Allen truly has some skills and on top of that is a super nice guy. I don't have any of these types of skills, and respect those that do. We PM'd a lot before I got that gun done because I was worried how it would turn out. It will be so much more relaxed next time because I know Allen just does things right. I want to get my Gen 4 done next. Now I just need to see him do some work with polymer frames ;-)
Thanks for the rep. I'm not about to blow things out of proportion and escalate an *imagined* threat, but in the event it's truly DonnyDumbo or my family...Donny's tomorrow ain't lookin' so good.
