Everything Travis said about the 300BLK is exactly why I've come to really like the round.

The 750 meter hits with an aimpoint are pretty amazing with any caliber. I was also under the impression that 300BLK lost a lot more at distance.

The round is excellent if you use it for the intended purposes. It can be used for longer range shooting with supersonic ammo but there are alot better options. I personally love it for the subsonic aspect. I have one of our 300BLK AR-15's and love it but I really like shooting it out of my custom 700 Rem in 300BLK. The round out of a bolt gun is silent death and accurate! Overall I LOVE THIS ROUND! Tons of applications and you get to shoot a new caliber!

I'm becoming more impressed with this round the more I see of it.

I've been intrigued since it first came out, but I was skeptical since every other month the "new revolutionary thing in firearms" comes out and I ignored the small but growing hoopla. But now, it seem to really have some merit.

I had already decided to do a .300 SBR with a can for home and then run it for deer but now I am convinced a bolt rifle will be in the mix too.

Whose can is he running on that gun? oops I see that now, only 8-12 month wait.
