    I think it depends on the particular model of the manufacturer in question.

    Some Glocks and Sig models are made here and others in Europe.

    The title said Made in America. It could be North America or South America which are continents and comprised of many countries.

    The post said USA, which is a single country.

    Slight difference in the number of gun companies that could be named.

    where did it say anything other than USA?

    The Title of this thread said Made in America. That includes every country in the western hemisphere. Canada is in North America. Mexico and Brazil is in Middle and South America. The whole New World was given the name America.

    We all need to stop saying America and American when we really mean the United States and United States Citizen.

    Sorry, but We are getting sloppy with our geography. Everyone living above and below the United States, geographicly speaking, are Americans.

    Now we're cookin. I was thinking more along the lines of handguns, but this will work, May be why I forgot remington and other longgun makers.

    i do understand your point... but i have never heard a canadian resident refer to themselves as "american"
