I have one Glock, a 19 and I use it for a suppressor host. I am more of a 1911 guy and when I get done cleaning I put a liberal amount of oil on my guns. But the Glock is supposed to be a "dry gun". At least I heard and internet Guru say that.
What is the appropriate amount of oil to use on theses when cleaning?

    a pic :)

I thought I may be using to much when it looked like I had a bad gasket on a Harley last time I took it out

My first ride at 16 was a Harley and I've had several over the years. Went through a lot of oil....

I will say they seem to have mostly cured that little issue the last couple of decades, about the time I stopped being able to afford them.

That was how they forced you to keep up on the oil.....

Or so the old timers have said.

I put a few drops on the frame rails and one on the barrel hood. You don't want the underside of the slide wet for sure, the striker channel will collect all kinds of junk if wet.

I think they just hung a drip pan below the engine, enclosed it, and put a little pump in it to send the leaks back into the sump...

You could just switch it over to Frog Lube. No mess as long as you apply it according to directions. It will make it smell better too. (At least that way SOMETHING good could be said about it)
