When I was in the Navy, I always felt greatly honored to stand watch as Asroc rover carrying JMB's venerable 1911A1.
It was even cooler getting to shoot one of the many "Ma Deuce" guns off the signal bridge.
To say John Moses Browning was a genius would be an understatement.

Liege has a statue in the square of him...One of the European statues without a horse and a sword...Just a lanky bald man with a cool mustache holding a firearm of his own design....He saved FN...Their words...Not mine....
