Just wanted to put the word out that Gimmie Shelter's second annual Bark in the Park Walk-a-thon is this Saturday (8/20/11). It is being held at the Robert'sdale Little League Complex in Forsythe Park.
The event runs from 9 to 2, with the walk beginning at about 10. All dogs must be leashed. We will have vendors, K9 demonstrations, food, music, games, contests, and lost cost micro-chipping.
Come on out, have fun, and know that you are helping homeless animals.
