Can only afford one, but which one?BP Colt 1860 2nd Gen .44 w/box & original papers like new. Or 9mm Beretta 92fs w/ box & original papers like new. Either one will be used just for plinkling. Survey says?

Really depends on how much you want to shoot. BP cap and ball is fun, but slow shooting. The 2nd gen Colt 1860 is a fine firearm, but not a historical antique. While they will get the job done, cap and ball is way behind the times as a defensive gun.

This coming from a guy who shoots both.
