My mom still keeps us up with raw fresh pecans. I love them and use them in "everything."

Walnut fan here, but choice would be pecan.

If you have plenty of pecans, try blending a batch to a course flour and add enough maple syrup to make a spread for waffles and such.
When you get it smooth it spreads like soft butter.

Little brother says walnuts "taste like dirt!" I like both. Pecans or hickory nuts would be my first choice.

I'm working from home today. Susan fell while I was at work yesterday. No serious injuries but banged her nose on the floor and scraped her arm and leg and bruised her side. She said her legs just went out on her when she was walking down the ramp out into the family room.
