Our ID office is outside of our security checkpoint, so when I got there this morning, I just showed my old card to the security officer and then "badged in". When I got my new one, since it hadn't been registered yet, I had to come in and take off my shoes and belt and empty my pockets to get back in.
Surely all that is done after once?

Wife has a swipe plus chip pass to get in the gate, unmanned, cameras only station.
Sometimes she has a half truck load of magnets for overnight shipment.

Machine won't recognize her pass. It happens a lot.

I should be skinny by morning I figure. I did have two pieces of breakfast pizza this morning, but then just a salad for lunch. And no after work snack. Same thing is on the menu for tomorrow.

wife made chicken salad with apples and grapes. I am having it on toast with Gouda
I make mine with rotisserie chicken from Kroger, grapes and praline pecans (and celery and... Miracle Whip :): ). That does sound good. May have to make a batch next time I have to go in to the office. I could see apples being a nice touch!

Edit: And a little "Nature's Seasoning" seasoned salt. At least I think that's the brand. I'm too lazy to go look.

That's a lot like how my grandma taught my mama to make it.

Come to think of it, if you threw a bunch of shredded/diced chicken into a Waldorf salad, you'd probably have a pretty decent chicken salad.
Only Waldorf premade for sale looks coarsely shredded, instead of chopped.
That might be good for a chicken salad, if it still has enough texture.
Since it's shredded anyway, I'd shred in some carrot.
    :dunno:

I think I'd still have to make my own. Waldorf salad has walnuts in it and I prefer pecans. Especially the praline pecans. I do a "rough crush" with the pecans. I put them in a ziploc and whack them with a meat tenderizer until they're broken up but not pulverized.
