    My DSL is 6Mb/756k so this is about right.



    Just for grins, one from the datacenter. I think it's a little jacked, though, because DL should be much faster than shown:

    OMG!!! look at that UL speed!!!!

    Yeah, it's supposed to be something like 50Mb/50Mb, but they have some weird bursting algorithms on the core routers, so it tends to jack with speed tests. We pay for a certain maximum average bandwidth, but it's allowed to burst up to the theoretical max available for short periods.

    It's not very fast, but it works.
    This is supposed to be DSL, but I've had the service for long enough that I'm still on a frame relay. Would that make the difference?

    Yeah. You should call your ISP and see if you can get bumped up. Two years after I moved in, we were moved to an SBC fiber hut which put us close enough to move from 128k/128k IDSL to 6Mb/756Kb ADSL but they didn't bother to mention that to us.
