If you have a pool you must have a gate or some other method to keep kids from climbing in - it's a kid magnet and dangerous. My parents installed a pool and their liability insurance went up even though they have a retractable ladder.

They'll find any reason to dismiss such a comparison even though it's made clear right in the article that it's not an apples to apples comparison and isn't trying to be presented as such.
