Yard sale find

Last weekend I decided to skip the 1500 and go to the Highway 40 sale. I wasn't in the market for a new gun, and didn't want to pay just to walk around and look.

I spend all morning and half of the afternoon hardly finding anything, and have just decided to head back home. My last stop of the day I found these.

Here's a little closer picture.

The top one is a .50 caliber Traditions Sporter Mag 209 in-line (scope was already included). The bottom one is also a .50 caliber, but I don't know who makes it. It says Made in Italy on it, and the only symbol I see is a block letter "I" with a box around it.

The guy selling them had $75 on the top one, and $100 on the bottom. I offered $150 for both, and walked out of there a happy man.

Nice purchase...you probably did better there than you would have at the 1500.

Looks like you did just fine on the muzzleloaders. Give them a good cleaning and take them out and shoot'em......

The bottom one could be made by CVA, some of their weapons were made in Italy.

The bottom one is a Investarms-(Kassnar). They are imported from Italy. I had one in .54 caliber and just sold it. Ex wife bought it for me. They are pretty nice guns!! Congrats!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to do some reading on them now.
