I'm pretty certain that SMC is the manufacturer - they made a basic knockoff of the Walther PPK..

On the box it has smc 380 distributed by KBI inc made in hungary.

I would take about any .22 Lr just something to shot with my son.I don't think he is ready for the AK yet

Is it going to be primarily *for* the little man?? I think my brother has a savage junior model .22, and since he's going into the military I don't know if he'd have any use for it anymore..
