So, they are all Yugo mags, or did you grind the mag to make the follower come up farther?

I sorry but as I remember these do hold the bolt open but I believed they do. I bought these back in 1992. I don't have an AK at this point. I sold all my AK's and replaced them with AR-10's. I have a lot of 308 ammo and didn't really care for the AK's after shooting the AR10's. After buying all the AR10 magazines need the room for them. I have not changed anything to the magazines at all. I was offered by a couple of dealers to buy these magazines but I know they will just mark them up. I have seen the magazines for AK's in Indy for $35 to $40 and more.

Soo... they do hold the bolt open? Can you post a picture of the follower top? It should be flat on the side toward the rear of the casing when loading. This catches the bolt. Non hold open will be rounded.
