I have a Century C91 .308 sporter I bought in '03 (only owner). Century has a bad rap for lemons, but this one's a gem. I've only fired 250 rounds of South African 7.62 and 80 rounds of Sellier and Bellot. Never had any problems at all, runs like a raped ape. I use 3" diameter stickers at the range, and I can place a mag inside them no prob. I never had the time to handload or try different commercial loads, but I bet she can turn some heads.
She's in great shape with only a couple of cosmetic blemishes. There's a couple of chips around the ejection port (typical), minor claw marks that's don't really stand out, a small ring on the bottom of the grip, and a small mark from a scope mount. The grip ring and mount mark have been touched-up with black enamel and look fine now. Bore's nice and shiny, and the black finish is even and lookin' good overall.
Here's your options:
A for $700
Rifle
High-rise claw scope mount (irons visible),
6-24X Barska Scope w/ flip ups
German wood stock and forearm + "black widow" stock
Custom adjustable Kydex cheek riser (does not alter stock)
Extendable bipod
4 hk "ribbed" 20rd mags and 1 20rd steel hk that's
touched up with enamel
Bayonet
2 US issue mag pouches (the ones with 'nade pockets on the sides)
B for $600
Rifle
German wood stock and forearm + "black widow" stock
4 hk "ribbed" 20rd mags and 1 20rd steel hk
Bayonet
2 US issue mag pouches
Willing to do a FTF in West Central Indiana, or ship for actual cost. I have a 140 round SA battle pack I'd throw in if you come to me. Also willing to trade for an AK and (maybe) some cash or an AK parts kits and cash.
I always liked the thought of not needing steel core rounds to punch through armor.
