I have a project coming up that is going to require some cash. To that end I’m selling some items that I don’t use. The guns will only be sold face-to-face in central Indiana to an Indiana resident.

    1.Springfield Armory Champion 1911

This pistol came to me as a trade for training a few years ago. It is in great shape, but is used. I have never fired it. Rather than have it collect dust in my safe, I’m going to find a new home for it. It has grip tape on the front strap. It will come with installed night sights, 2 Wilson Combat magazines and a holster.

    $580

    2.Colt Sistema 1927 (1911)

Sistema DGFM-FMAP made in 1957. This pistol has original finish but you can see from the pictures that the years have been a little rough on it. I have shot *maybe* two magazines through it in the 8 years I have owned it. The pistol comes with one original mag.

    $375

3.The first person to buy either of the pistols gets a free Larue ‘dillo bottle opener.

Please post in this thread if you want to buy one of the items or if you want more information.

I went looking for an answer to your first question and found this thread:

molena 1911 clone parts interchangeable - TheFiringLine Forums

Yes, I am firm on the price.

That's not a Ballester-Molina. It was produced in on Colt tooling with Colt oversight. Other than the rollmark it's a true Colt M1911A1. Here's a review: Firearm Review, June 2000.

$375 is a good price, people. There were lots of these on the market for around $250 5-7 years ago, but there aren't any more to import and nowadays the people who have them know better than to let them go.
