I've not fired any of the two 50 rd boxes that I bought, but you can get Federal Champion ammo at Walmart for $1.47/50rds...

It's not cheap anymore, but Wolf makes excellent .22LR in two different target grades. Don't judge it by the centerfire ammo they produce and/or market. Their .22LR is very good.
