I also have a Nylon 66. I bought it in 1975 and it was well used at that time. There is some to the buttstock. It fell out of the bottom of an unzipped soft case onto a concrete floor. I don't remember if they were supposed to be unbreakable or not, but this one broke. I repaired it the best I could but it 's not perfect. The gun is and always has been a great shooter. I don't think it's ever had any functioning problems that were not due to faulty ammunition. Oh, it's the Mohawk Brown, and I can't find a serial number. Possibly under the forearm?

Remington guarantees it to be unbreakable but the factory hasn't any replacement stocks that I am aware of but there were some out there. They should offer to replace it with a new 22 but you must pay shipping or so I've been told.

    Good Luck

My friend has a blue 66. He said it is Uber Rare. I can ask if he wants to sell it. What kinda price you offering? I believe it's unfired.

I was in the Cabela's store in Hammond last week and they had two in the used gun rack. They were the black colored ones, not the brown ones. They appeared in pretty good shape.

    Remington Mohawk 10C

I have LN Mohawk 10C. Has 1 10 round magazine, and a Weaver 3x-6x scope mounted. I had lost the clip years ago, and just got a replacement (in Remington original packaging) at the last Indy 1500. Took it out and cleaned it, then took it to the club indoor 50 foot range to sight it in on both sights and scope. It shoots great. These targets show results of a "quick and dirty" sighting. Has probably had 200-250 rounds through it since I got it as a kid around 1975 or so. I'm the original owner.

Email me at chuck26287@att.net if you're interested.
