I'm looking for a small amount (probably under 200 rounds) of 7.62x54R if anyone has some to spare that they want to get rid of. Looking for FTF in Indianapolis area as I don't really want to pay for shipping.

No doubt...I'd like to be able to shoot just a few rds here and there at the range without having to clean the barrel immediately after I'm done.

I found a sealed case (450 rds, I think) of Russian steel-case 7.62 at the Kokomo show for $80, but I opted not to buy it as I could not verify its quality or age.

my friend just picked up 300 of the hungarian sniper rounds at a show yesterday for $62

wait for a local show or snag up the 250ish for 50
