Writing your congressmen

How often should you write your congressmen concerning second amendment issues? I have written them once already recently. Would writing them again within a few weeks be ineffective or be ignored. Does it become counterproductive?

Daily. They don't document who they are hearing from, they only take note of volume.

I try to send emails every day, but sometimes it is only a couple times a week.
