When I was younger and just fresh out of collage I was pretty liberal leaning, however once I got out in the real world I learned that I could sit on my A$$ and complain and be stuck with my Liberal Arts degree and rely on the Gov.. to support me or I could get off my A$$ and work hard for what I want in life. Now I own my own successful business, and make a decent living and my conservative values have helped get me here! I can completely relate to this article and he is spot on, same argument I have with liberal friends on a daily basis!

First let me say I didn't read this entire article just skimmed, but let me say this.

This is one of the problems with the current "tolerance" movement and the "everything is OK" and "Be true to yourself" theology. It ignores the fact that there IS absolute, exclusive Truth and there IS right and wrong and the standard is not our own, it belongs to God. Mostly the people that point the finger and call people "intolerant" are the most intolerant people among us. I can certainly "tolerate" people who do wrong, as I do wrong myself and am not perfect, but if I know something is wrong that is exactly what I'm going to call it.

Unfortunately there is an extraordinary large group of folks who will read it and not understand it. Not because they can't, but because they do not want to. It is way more confortable for them to keep their blinders on and just follow the herd......Great post...Thanks for sharing.

Quite! This guy is good. He has a sense of humor, is insightful, and his work is well written. I particularly like this:

In America we have a constitutional right to own modern firearms for the purpose of killing people who need killing to defend ourselves, our communities and our nation. If you don't like it, there is no law stopping you from leaving. In fact, as an immigrant myself, I'd encourage you to find a nation better suited to your philosophy, as I did, and move there, as I have done. In exchange, I have friends and relatives overseas who'd be happy to swap with you.
