There has been a fair amount of talk about this. The instructor for the classes I've been to has been gearing up his curriculum for this event. It's expected the legislation will call for a training class, perhaps similar to the Utah course.

Perhaps they will get this passed before I get back home. If so, I might look into getting it just to have one.

Sunday while taking a tour of the club I am going to join this was discussed and I expect if classes are needed, they will be offered ASAP to get everyone in town up and running.

Between this and the Packers it is an exciting time to be in WI.

Too bad there will be training requirements. I heard a rumor a while back that they were going to pursue Constituitonal Style carry like Alaska/Arizona/Vermont.

I hope if it gets passed that there's reciprocity with Indiana.
I have a cabin in NW Wisconsin and it would be nice to be able to carry without concern over being hassled for it.

In conversations with people up there, I've told them that with the hunting and gun culture in Wisconsin, it's odd that it's illegal to concealed carry.

Wisconsin people have told me that it's the influence of the large cities in the state that have kept concealed carry from being passed.
