Win 94 30/30

Are all the 94's carbines? If not whats the difference? Barrel legnth?

Winchester Model 94 like all long guns are usually named Rifles with barrel lengths longer that 20 inches. They are called carbines if the have a barrel length 20 inches or less.

I think all 30/30's are carbines. I don't think I have seen that round in a rifle. However, it can be.

SIL has one. They're around but probably not as plentiful. I think some of the commemoratives were over 20" too. I've seen 26" advertised.

My Teddy Roosevelt commemoratives came with both a carbine and rifle.
I haven't seen a non-commemorative rifle that I can recall.
