Will this make my AK 47 an SBR?

I have an arsenal AK47 (7.62x39) slr 107cr with the stupid barrel extension and the worthless 25 x 1.5 thread protector on the end.

I would like to have the barrel cut off at the threads,and affix a break/flash hider on the end....

also... break? or hider?.....my first AK 47 build so kinda need some help here

I have talked to the son at scroggins in martinsville,and he will do what ever I want ...I just need some get started advice...thanks my INGO brothers...

Will the barrel be less than 16"?

Will the overall rifle length be less than 26"?

If yes to either one of those, then yes it will be an SBR

As long as the bbl (with break/flash hider) is over 16" you are good to go. I recommend the FSC47. I put it on my SBR and it is amazing.

I left this out of my post because the receiver is so long on an Ak that with a stock you are going to be over 26" pretty easy

ya goober that was my next question.........but anyone have 2 cents about a break or a flash hider?...and what model of whichever.....trying to stay under or at $100
