Sorry, comrades, but I was weak and my wonderful wife heard my thoughts that I should get one now instead of later. I promise to clean her with Vodka to remove any Capitalist stench.

You say mne zhal, but I hope I'll say, 'Мне he жаль,' after a few range trips. She better be good. Her new AK sisters will be watching closely.

Not "he", but "ne". Pronounce it "knee".

Mne ne zhal'=no shame to me

If you want to steal the Firefox, Professor, you must think in Russian. The Cyrillic 'H' sounds like 'N' in English.

Exactly. The word 'No' is romanized as 'Nyet' but the Cyrillic word is actually 'Нет.'

It's a long trip every day from Hamilton Co to downtown (pimsleur cds) plus lunchtime on Duolingo. I've been learning Russian for a few months.

Careful, there are a couple Russian language speakers on here. ;) With ARs, to boot. :D

    Nice buy, OP.

Sure. Women and children need a rifle too. :P

    arabic wasn't enough!?! ;)

Arabic was the military's idea. I started Russian to read the AK manuals/propaganda posters and the Metro/Метро books in Russian.

Thats a Cyrillic 'р' Kirk. It sounds like 'r' in English.

Congrats, and good timing. Try finding one now. Looks like entry and mid level AR's are drying up again. Gun buyer, Kentucky Gun Co., Budsguns...nada.
