Why are parents spineless these days?

For the past 15 to 20 years, many children knew and still know that all they need to do is to call the police, make a true or false claim and have their parents taken off to jail.

I know more than one family this happened to. It's real, it's ugly and it can happen to you. Talk to your childred. Remember that you are a parent first and a friend second.

OMG, if I'd have dared to threaten with that whole "I'm calling the cops" bit, my dad would have said "advise them to bring a body bag". I'm about 90% sure he'd have meant it!
