I love my Encore but have recently noticed a lot of creep in the trigger. There is some info available on the web that claims the Encore can have an excellent trigger with a couple of adjustments. There are a few other adjustments that can be done to greatly increase accuracy. Does anyone know of a smith that specializes in Encore frames? I prefer to deal with someone local and even better yet, a INGO member.

i know indygunworks has done a few tc triggers. they can be a very good trigger. my muzzleloader is set at a crisp 2.5lbs and i love the trigger.

to be honnest thats one of the huge downsides to the tc frame. they come from the factory at 5-7lbs. i contacted tc about having them lower the wieght and they said they would be happy to lower it to 5lbs. obviously i passed. lets face it if you have a 7lb trigger 5 isn't going to be much diffrence
