A lot of the problem with vB is queries. More/better hardware always helps, but it's a problem with the underlying database too. There's a lot of impact with ~200 concurrent users viewing threads...

I gave $20 when I renewed my membership, but I'd happily give more to help out. I'd also like to encourage everyone, who is financially able, to become a site supporter. If you use the site and enjoy INGO, it is such a small price to pay.
