    Hi All,
Don't take my post in a bad way, but it still bug's me how they do what they do! Last night they built a 12ga Gatlin gun electrical run:ar15:
The owner (will) tells the guy that want this Gatlin gun that if they can do this he can owned!:dunno: Anyone of us can buy, built what ever Gatlin gun if it is hand crank, where a person would get in trouble when putting a motor on it:draw: They took 3 saiga 12 ga shotguns and mounted all three together and had it firing 1400 rd a min. by a electric motor:ar15:the last few words said was the buyer asking the Owner of RedJacket it he could buy it and (Will) saying it's yours!:draw::draw::ar15::ar15:
NO WAY! I know it is just a TV show but I can't stand it when things are said that can't be. Or the 9mm handguns on TV never run out of ammo:laugh:

It's scripted fiction and bears no resemblance to reality. But you're right; it spreads misinformation to people and has the potential to steer those people down possibly illegal paths.

    Sons of herp derp.

I will admit, I do enjoy the show for entertainment. I also think that overall these types of shows bring many more people into the gun community. So overall there is a positive effect despite the presence of that "yes suh" moron on the show.

Did anyone else notice what the motor was, or how it was powered?

I was from a battery drill, the battery was on it under the handles.

I could not figure out why you would use three full shotguns and then spin them in a circle and call that a good idea. It looked like an accident waiting to happen. Keeping the guns stable and not spinning and activating the triggers in a cycle seems like it would make more sense.

I was excited this show but now everytime i watch it makes feel stupid for taking time to watch it.

I love how every few episodes they have some "security contractor or defense specialist" needing them to build something. Considering that most contracting firms have BIG BUCKS to spend on things, idk why they would go to Red Jacket for 1 item and wait months instead of using their DOD connections to buy 10 or 100 of something and have it hand delivered in about a week. Oh yeah, cause its fiction.

I makes my head hurt and I think the show is terrible and only getting worse. Some is going to get shot on that show here soon, I know it. They need the "drama"

A few shows ago they made a stock for a desert eagle .50. While we were watching it I said that's a short barrel rifle and no way can she just take it. At the end of the show she came in and shot it and said she loved it. Then they said it had to stay there until the paperwork was approved. So at least that episode was correct...

Damn! I hadn't thought of that. Your right. I bet Chris and snaggle tooth hook up, have a kid and the infant gets a finger on a weapon and blows one of Chris's nads off. You know the baby got it's hands on the Baby Bottle Gun prototype. A home defense weapon designed to hide out in the open.

I could so be a writer for reality TV.;)

+1 Jake - I get so sick of the "reality" TV (which isn't reality at all). I did enjoy just a bit the pieces about the guns, but the fake drama is enough to make me barf!

Ending up with the 3 shotguns like they did was silly but what happened was they blew up their real breech loading shotgun slug Gatling gun because Will wouldn't let one of his guys finish it the way he wanted. In Will's defense, he said the 3 spinning Saiga was a proof of concept for the motor assembly since the real one blew up.

I'll give them a little credit this time for trying to make real machined parts on a CNC. Too bad it went BOOM! The real Gatling gun might have been pretty cool for once. Most of their other stupid multi-gun projects are just that... stupid.

I was honestly waiting for one of those saigas to fly off the mount and be shooting slugs all around or someone get knocked out by the shell casings flying at Mach 3 when thrown from the gun.

On a related note. Sons of Guns has jumped the shark. However I still find myself watching it so I can continue to be bewildered and make stupid faces at the TV.

I agree 100% that the show has jumped the shark. It was a good show when it first came out last year but now the scripted drama is getting out of hand. I think they are getting way off course with what made the show a hit and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be watching the show.
