I love Whittakers!!! That's where I prefer to buy most of my rifles because I can compare so many.

They have done a great job of keeping people informed of inventory through their FB page. over the last 2 months, I have picked up several cases of 223/ 5.56 at very reasonable prices.

I think it was a combination of theft and the Fire Marshall saying so, but they only allow so many people in at once.

Went down there a couple Saturdays ago (got there a couple minutes after they opened) and their parking lot, the one across the street, and along the roads were all filled. There was a waiting line backed up to the road. It was right around 30*, too.
We said 'the hell with it, there's nothing I need that damn bad', and turned around.

They post what weapons they are going to "release" for those waiting in line @0800CDT and again @400pm each day on their Facebook page. 8am post is usually the prior evening, the 4pm post is around noon.
Worth liking them if you are interested in a particular weapon.

They usually have a lot more than what you seen, but with all the panic buyers there inventory is down.
