where to buy parts for 1911

Looking to buy various parts for some 1911 pistols such as recoil springs, plunger spring assembly, etc. I will be up in Indy over the weekend. Any place to buy some parts rather than do mail order?

I've been very disappointed in what I've seen on the shelves around here. As you reference, Brownells and MidwayUSA are the place to go.

He's not in Indy ... closer to Seymour. Bob's a good man.

Dr is right, Bob Trueblood at Bite the Bullet is a great guy and carries quite a bit of 1911 hardware. Bob is about 5 miles N of Seymour on US31. He is a Wilson dealer and shoots 1911's competitively. He's definitely worth a call.
