My first handgun was bought inside a old tool shed built in the 1930's that my then FFL ran his shop out of on his farm.

Got mine from a (then) newly opened gun store in Rushville. Fields outdoor. Traded it about a year later for a glock 27 at the same store. Still have the 27.

At the next door neighbor’s garage sale. Really cheap. I could afford it even though I was 14 or 15. It was a black 1911...

My dad also gave me my first handgun, original Hamden, CT High Standard Victor he used to shoot bullseye matches with in the 70's. My first purchase was a Thompson Auto Ordnance duo-tone 1911a1. Still have the High Standard, wish I had the Thompson

My first handgun was a 4" Smith & Wesson 586 purchased at Blythe's in Valparaiso in 1992.

Nothing else in my experience compares to Fetla's. I still miss that place.
