It was a horrible event some time ago, it still brings tears to some members eyes. Ingo organizes a memorial event every year in remembrance of our lost guns

Anyone else notice that every year when we have these, we end up losing more on the memorial? Maybe we should stop taking our guns out to the middle of lake michigan without a GPS device to know our exact location.

I have actually taken all of my guns for several different boat rides here on the Wabash. For some unknown reason I have yet to have an accident. I will keep trying though. What am I doing wrong?

I had all of my guns and ammo with me on a fishing trip on Lake Michigan in October. It was just one day after I aquired my last gun and my last rounds of ammo.

I hooked into a monster sturgeon that was too strong for me. I wrapped the line around my pile of guns and ammo and...well. Yep you guessed it. The fish got away with everything.

I'm not ready to move on and buy another gun yet. I'm still in mourning.

The wife refuses to allow me near boats now. The last accident was tragic I simply couldn't swim with the safe on my back and decided to live and swam ashore. When I woke I was told it was all gone. I remember only select things from that day but can't recall the body of water.
Should have never named my safe the "titanic". Lesson learned

    Me too, all gone.

I can't hardly walk near a mud puddle now the emotional impact was severe.

Sorta like after I saw the movie "Jaws" in 1976.

my boating accident was so bad that i not only lost the guns and the boat...but also all evidence that i ever even had a gun or a boat. I think Mr. Obama should give us all guns (like he does with cell phones) because we dont have any.:D
Obamaguns would be nerf single shot.

I, for one, am no longer going to participate in the INGO Lake Safe Chucking contest anymore. Not only do I keep losing all my firearms, I lose the contest to TF, thanks to all the EPD members that show up and chuck his safe for him.
