I've had firearms around my whole life but only recently looked into long term storage or "stocking up" on ammo for whatever reason. I know now that it pays off to buy in larger quantities than buying a box or two at a time. There are a million and one places that sell but what online store usually has best prices/quality/service?

I don't know where you are located but you should get ahold of andrew at Profire Arms. He manufactures just about any ammo caliber you could want and it is great ammo. He sells in bulk, Plus it is all made right here in Indiana on the Westside Of Indianapolis.

Profire Arms & Supply, Inc. - INGunOwners

I'm located in Bartholomew Cnty. So it will have to be within 30 miles or non cost effective.

Ammoseek is the best price search engine that I know of right now. Ammo engine used to be better but lately it seems they are searching fewer suppliers and their results are not accurate.

Fwiw, I just found some great 223 pricing on Ammoseek from Natchez They ship quick too.[/

Federal Lake City greenies. $35 for bags of 100 rounds. You can obviously get cheaper Russian stuff out there but the Lake City stuff is primo ammunition.
