What's it like to live in Ft Wayne?

I was born and raised in F.W. but when it came time to find a job... Had to move to Indy. They don't have near the Tech Jobs up there.

You don't need a bunch of computers to grow corn.

FW is a great place to live, or just be close to. Plenty to do here: Comets, TinCaps, lots of shows at Embassy Theater & Memorial Coliseum (including gun shows), great trails to run/hike on in town and out, IMAX coming soon, huge library...

One thing that is missing here... WHITE CASTLE

Moved up here about 5 years ago and dont plan on going anywhere! I love it always something to do here. Housing is great just depends on the area you what to live in. Cost of living is awesome. Ive lived in Indy and dont miss it one bit!

Terre Haute finally got one my last year down there, so that was nice. But perhaps not having it here is a blessing for me since it is one restaurant I don't have to worry about being tempted to eat while trying to get in shape!

PS - where's the nearest White Castle? Ain't it in Indy? I think so...

Not huge on the Komets deal. It's better than the tin caps though. Not a Sports fan, really....I trid once and failed HARD.

The Fort Wayne area is not bad. We live east of the city in New Haven, great smaller city. I think there is a ton of things to do and ranges are close, so are gun shops (21st and Ranger Supply)

Lived in Fort Wayne 33 years then moved 8 miles west of town. Now have the best of country living, yet close enough for easy access to all Fort Wayne has to offer.
