What would you do in this situation?

Or maybe if you were in a similar situation arguing with someone at your front door (maybe with a neighbor) and they ran in your home and attacked you, what would you do?

I would have been standing behind the closed screen door with my holstered sidearm in plain view, on the phone to 911. If they came in the house? Can't say for sure but it probably wouldn't have been pretty.

Yep. Thats what we pay them for. (cops/taxes)

Now if they happened to come THROUGH said locked door, then all bets are off. STOP... Hammer time. (as it lands home on the firing pin repeatedly causing a repeated exodus of lead in a particular direction.)

Step 2) Do not associate with/avoid individuals from the far left end of the intelligence bell curve

Unfortunately I see people who have no concept of the law. Both sides that is.

1 Close your door, have firearm in view and say nothing.
2 Call the police.
3 If the wild life breaks the perimeter, shoot.

They can call you all the names they want, say you're hiding behind a gun, call you names for not coming out to fight. You're in control. Don't engage in their tactics. You are not obligated to play their game.

When we lived in town, we had plenty of "disagreements" with the neighbors (we were of two completely different cultures).

a) shut and lock the door
b) record or take pictures (that usually sets them off)
c) call the cops FIRST (the first to file a complaint is the "victim"). Push for trespassing.
d) if they attack or try to force their way in, then end it.

But, whatever you do, don't escalate. Don't egg them on, and don't stoop to their level. There are much better ways to protect yourself and your property.
