Knowing that many of us are being the best Boy Scouts we know how to be (Motto: Be prepared), have you considered what basic parts you might need for your real need to have firearms for long term use and have you done anything about it?

Yes, and yes. Even if you leave out the "SHTF" aspect, having a stock of spares for your main gun(s) is still a good idea.

An AK with about 500 rounds should be enough in parts.
